Project Invite Email confusing for existing users

The project invite email provides a url to join a project that is applicable ONLY to new users. If you click on the link as an existing user, the signup page does not respect your log in status (which is confusing) and also doesn’t auto populate any of the fields or redirect you to the “my projects” page.
