Unable to log in using Firefox 3.5 on Windows XP

Hi there, thanks for the handy tool.
Am noticing that several people on my project cannot use Firefox for accessing Tails.
After the log in page they are directed to the project page as expected but they are not logged in. (Their user name does not appear at the top and the log-in link is visible)
The same users can log in ok when using Internet Explorer on the same PCs.
Firefox on Mac also seems ok but not tested extensively.
All users have Firefox 3.5+ on Windows XP.
