IE refuses to render headers. At all.

Now usually (yes, usually. This problem is common enough that there’s a “usually”) this problem can be sorted with a position: relative. But that breaks the background and border rendering.

I have no idea how MS justifies shipping a browser with a problem like this. Next time I see internet explorer in the street, I’m going to punch it in the throat.
