Using just days is unwieldy after a few days have passed

#178 Reported over 5 years ago by Brook Elgie (Project member)

When visualising the time since a ticket was reported, commented on or changed, consider using something other than days when it reaches more than, say 30 days. It’s difficult to understand what 71 days (or 145 days, or 532 days) actually means. It becomes less useful.

Actually, I’d suggest using the actual date itself after 7 days. Otherwise people will end up having to constantly calculate the date in their head.

I saw that, but it doesn’t work on summary pages: http://beta.tailshq.com/projects/1/bugs

Try holding your mouse over the “2 days ago” text.
