I would really like to get chirrup to work on my website. I have been struggling to get it to work and as a bit of a novice may be overlooking something simple.
I downloaded the latest version
I uploaded the contents of the chirrup_latest folder to a new folder I created on my web server called chirrup. The chirrup folder is in the public html folder.
Do I need to CHMOD any files or folders?

I changed the user name and password in the config.php that was located in the config folder.

This is where I’m not quite sure what to do?
OK so I need to put the following between the head tags and replace my domain name, however do I need to include the folder where I placed all the chirrup files. Let’s also say my domain name is xxxxxxxx.com

Is this correct

Or

What is this and what do I need to do? referring to http://my.awesome.blog/a/long/url

Do I need another file or ?

I know this may be rather basic help but possible elaboration could help others get the program working.

Thanks
Greg

yes this was very confusing for a novice in programming. please make what links we should use more specific. go further in depth about it.

and how we can edit the CSS more easily would be a great help.

it took me a couple hours to get everything right.

I’m the same as you here. It just isn’t clear at all. I’m not a complete novice with HTML and stuff but there was absolutely no reference to http://my.awesome.blog/a/long/url in the chirrup pages, it just came out of the blue. Hope you got your answer somehow.
