Tumblr now lets you automatically tweet all your new posts, and it does its own URL shortening. http://staff.tumblr.com/post/75941045/twitter What do you think about offering an option to tie into the Tumblr API to use their short URL’s instead of tinyurl? Then if people retweet your posts from Twitter, it will automatically be pulled into chirrup. Dan, I see that you use Tumblr for your blog, so I can see this being immediately useful and attractive. Unfortunately, at the moment, there doesn’t seem to be any API documentation on getting this short URL http://www.tumblr.com/docs/api but perhaps an email could make it happen.
